The Advantages of TECO Vitreous Enamel Panels as Curtain Walls

We would like to present you with the below video for you to learn the advantages of vitreous enamel panels as architectural curtain walls. By showing TECO’s track records, this video demonstrates some of the curtain wall projects we did and why TECO VE panel is one of the most durable and safest exterior wall cladding materials for building facades.

Besides the above video, you can also find more photos of some curtain wall projects done by TECO by visiting our Building Category Page.

Here are the three main advantages we would like to share with you in words.

  • Fire-Rated – The Grenfell Tower fire accident in London brought more alertness to people in choosing safe wall cladding materials for buildings. As a fire-rated material, TECO VE panel is 100% non-combustible. It passed BS 476 Part 4, 6, and 7 tests. We got Class 0, the best class rating result, from the tests and acquired the Certificate of Conformity (COC) issued by TÜV SÜD.
  • Unfading – Vitreous enamel coating is resistant to UV light, salinity, and chemicals. The unfading finish of TECO VE panels assures building appearance always remains new and clean with a minimum maintenance cost. Other coating materials usually fade within 10 years. However, vitreous enamel coating can always remain its original colour for many decades without change.
  • More Robust and Versatile Shapes – With steel substrate, TECO VE panel is more flexible in shape. It is also more robust than other wall cladding materials, such as tile, ceramic, glass, granite, etc. Undoubtedly, these materials have limitations in shape. Not to mention cracking and falling accidences are commonly seen from them. Sometimes bring injuries or property loss to people.
