TECO is the main VE panel supplier in Singapore MRT Downtown Line project

Hi there, This is Allen again. I am happy to inform you that TECO is the major VE panel supplier in Singapore MRT Downtown Line project. Among the 34 stations of the Downtown Line project, 13 stations of them specified heavy gauge VE panel as wall cladding material in the stations. With TECO’s expertise in vitreous enamel panel manufacturing, strict quality control procedures, and flexible production arrangement to meet our customers’ urgent demands, we not only delivered all VE panels in the best quality but also assisted all of our customers in completing the projects before their project deadlines. Here, I would like to show you the Downtown Line MRT map as below. Please refer to the stars marked in red for these 13 stations using TECO heavy gauge VE panels inside. There are three construction stages in the Downtown Line project. The Downtown Line 3 (DTL3) will open on 21 October 2017, making it the longest underground and driverless MRT line in Singapore, surpassing the 35.7km Circle Line (CCL). The completed DTL which will be 42km long will facilitate direct travel from the north-western and eastern areas of the island to the Central Business District (CBD) and Marina Bay areas, providing greater connectivity to residential, industrial and lifestyle enclaves. DTL1 is from Chinatown to Bugis opened on 22 December 2013 and DTL2 is from Bukit Panjang to Rochor opened on 27 December 2015. The DTL3 Extension from Expo to Sungei Bedok, an additional 2.2km, will open in 2024. I would also like to show you the following pictures taken from some of the 13 stations we completed.
