Xindian District Office Station: Vitreous Enamel Metro Station Panels
Area: 2,500m² | Year of Completion: 1998
📍 Project Overview
The Taipei Metro Xindian District Office station serves as a key stop on the Green Line in New Taipei City. Consequently, the station required high-performance materials to manage daily passenger traffic efficiently. For this landmark project, TECO fabricated 2,500 m² of premium vitreous enamel metro station panels, which were expertly installed across the platform, escalators, and stairwell areas to ensure long-term durability.
🎨 Design and Installation Details
Specifically, the installation layout features a distinct color scheme that guides passengers through the station. Visitors will notice our medium green panels installed at the top, while the lower sections utilize lighter tones, creating a clean and cohesive aesthetic. Furthermore, these vitreous enamel panels were precision-engineered to integrate seamlessly with the station's architecture, providing both structural integrity and visual appeal.
🛡️ Superior Durability: Anti-Graffiti Performance
In public transit environments, vandalism and unwanted spray paint present ongoing challenges for maintenance teams. Therefore, we engineered our panels with advanced anti-graffiti properties. Because the glass-fused-to-steel surface is non-porous, Metro operators can remove graffiti effortlessly without damaging the finish. As a result, the station retains its original look with minimal upkeep.
