Kaohsiung International Airport station is a station on the Red line of Kaohsiung MRT in Xiaogang District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
It is the international gateway to Kaohsiung. This station is located at the core location of the airport area. It connects to the international and the domestic terminals and is a transportation hub connecting the land and the air.
The themes of the station contain "blue sky, ocean, and Metro." The architectural design is based on the idea of the sky lighting, attracting gorgeous light and shadow, providing the hall with natural light while integrating energy conservation into the station design. All ground facilities are constructed with light-weights, transparent materials, and walls are decorated with the high gloss feature of vitreous enamel panels. TECO fabricated 3,000m² of vitreous enamel panels installed in the concourse, staircase, and platform area.
